A Christianity Worth Believing In – Live Occurrences

Few people have been more encouraging, challenging and gracious to us over the years than Doug Pagitt. Last year, Doug wrote a book called A Christianity Worth Believing In. Over the past few months, Doug has been traveling around the country to facilitate “live occurrences” of the book.

Through readings from the book, music, video, and spoken-word poetry, Doug is sharing his dissatisfaction with current versions of Christianity, and present a version he describes as “hope-filled, open-armed, alive-and-well faith for the left out, left behind, and let down in us all.”

We’re planning on seeing the live occurrence in Chicago on Tuesday evening, July 21. If you’re in the Chicago area, let us know if you’re planning on attending. We’d love to connect with you!
