We posted a few videos last week that we produced for DCLA, but haven’t spent a lot of time lately sharing some of the other exciting things that IMAGO has been up to lately. Here’s just a few of things we’ve got going…
Planet Wisdom – last summer, we helped Mark Matlock and the team at
Planet Wisdom (now a part of
Youth Specialties) dream up new ways to approach their large group gatherings, incorporating narrative storytelling, contemplative prayer/journaling exercises, and more interactive participation by the students who attended. Then, a few months ago, we met with Mark again to start work on this season’s events. We’ll be sharing a lot more about this over the next few months, but for now we’ll just say there’s some really incredible ideas being discussed, and we think this is going to be a truly unique event.
NAB – Since fall of last year, we’ve been working with the North American Baptist Conference to build a new web site, and re-think the way they communicate about their denomination. We’re partnering with CHANGEffect on this project, and we’re extremely excited about the launch of the site in August. We’ll let you know once the new site is live!
MERGE – in 2006 and 2007, IMAGO was truly privileged to be a part of designing an event called MERGE, a 6-day gathering that utilized multiple learning forms (storytelling, dialogue, interactive experiences) to help students journey through the story of God. Both years, the event was hosted by
Sonlife. In 2010, MERGE will be back! We’re partnering with Michael Novelli (
Echo) to produce the event, which will be held at
Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, MI. For more info about the event, please visit the
MERGE web site.
