LOST is Over

After 6 mind-bending seasons, TV show LOST came to its conclusion last night. If you watched it, what did you think? Satisfied? Left with a lot of questions?

Series creator J.J. Abrams has made a career out of telling stories with questions and mystery at the center. In this TED talk from 2007, he talks about where his love for mystery comes from, and how he uses it in his storytelling.

One Response to “LOST is Over”

  1. I think that one statement is key about all of Lost that most viewers didn’t pick up on until the latter half of the last season: “Mystery is the catalyst for imagination. Maybe there are times when mystery is more important than knowledge.”

I think we gave up on getting all the questions figured out and just enjoyed the mystery and the pure entertainment it brought.
