Maker Faire

I got a chance to attend  Maker Faire in the San Francisco area last weekend. The creativity was truly inspiring! From robots to 3d printers to 3d art – I was so encouraged by amount of inginuity and the level of energy I felt from the entire event.  Adam Savage from Myth Busters (a keynote speaker) shared, “we are seeing a generational shift back to making”. I think technology and the internet is at the center of this movement. People are desiring not to just consume, but to create and share with a community of others. As I walked around Maker Faire, I thought to myself, I can’t wait to bring my kids to this!
